Palmistry is an art of fortune telling through the study of the palm. It is also known as palm reading, or chirology. People practicing chiromancy are often referred as palmists, hand analysts and hand reader. The practice of palmistry has been a well-known art of foretelling in the cultures of India, Tibet, China, Persia and countries in Europe.
Palmistry is practiced by evaluating an individual's characteristics and future by observing the palm of the person's hand. This is judged by various lines, shapes and structures and their interconnection and intersections. The fingers and finger prints are also taken into account for more detailed study.
The heart line begins near the middle of your hand at the edge of your palm under your pinky finger and extends across your palm towards your index finger. If your heart line ends between your middle and index fingers you are trustworthy, considerate and kind to others and tend to easily give your heart to another
This line begins just above the life line, between the thumb and the index finger and runs across the palm toward the other edge of the palm horizontally. Sometimes the head line begins directly on the life line and extends out from there. This means that you have a strong will.
Life line: Located under heart line, goes around your thumb indicates vitality. Line of stability (also known as your Fate line): Comes up through the center of the hand, starting at the bottom of your palm and running toward your middle finger; indicates how you feel about the life you create.
